Schöner Wohnen für Fortgeschrittene

Schöne neue Arbeitswelt. Ich war kurz vor meiner Abreise in der brandneuen, umgebauten Halle 205. Noch vor relativ kurzer Zeit stand in dieser Halle eine Produktionsanlage. Diese brauchen wir anscheinend nicht mehr oder produzieren irgendwoanders auf der Welt mit der alten Anlage billiger als in Deutschland.
Wie dem auch sei – die Anlage ist weg und die Halle stand leer. Also hat man diese Halle im großen Stil umgebaut und in ein Großraumbüro unter dem Schlagwort „neue Arbeitswelt“ verwandelt. Man hat viel Geld in die Hand genommen. So hat zum Beispiel nun jeder Mitarbeiter einen höhenverstellbaren Tisch, sodass man auch im Stehen arbeiten kann. Dies ist in meinen Augen sehr lobenswert. Kurz vor meiner Abreise habe ich meinen Kollegen noch einen Besuch abgestattet, um mir einen Eindruck von der Zukunft der Arbeitsorganisation bei meinem Arbeitgeber zu machen. Arbeiten in Abteilungen oder klassischen Teams ist kalter Kaffee von gestern und vollkommen überholt. Die ultimative Zukunft sind disruptive Teams, die in Selbstorganisation zum nächsten Sprint Run ansetzen. Insider wissen Bescheid – es geht um Agility. Man muss heute nicht mehr flexibel sein, nein unter agil machen wir es nicht mehr…

NGW – Next Generation Workspace

Beautiful new working world. I was just before my departure in the brand-new, converted Hall 205, where a production facility was located relatively recently. Apparently we no longer need these or produce them anywhere else in the world with the old system cheaper than in Germany.
Anyway, the production machines are gone and the hall was empty. So this hall was converted on a grand scale and transformed into an open-space office under the slogan „Next Generation Workspace“. They took a lot of money in their hands. For example, every employee now has a height-adjustable table so that you can also work standing up. I think this is very commendable. Shortly before my departure I visited my colleagues to get an impression of the future of work organisation at my employer. Working in departments or classic teams is yesterday’s cold coffee and completely outdated. The ultimate future is disruptive teams that start the next sprint run in self-organization. Insiders know – it’s about agility. You don’t have to be flexible anymore, no with less then agile we don’t do it anymore…
